PROCESSING, PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS

Complete control of the production and supply chain ensures the high quality of Rigoni di Asiago products. The supply chain is supervised by the operation center at Rigoni di Asiago, which is responsible for the strategic management of the business.

The production site is located among the pristine green mountains of the Asiago Plateau, where approximately 6,000 tons of fruit are processed each year.

The entire cycle is automated and controlled by state-of-the-art technology, with all the steps recorded to ensure traceability of the raw ingredients used.

The finished product is then stored at the logistics center near Verona, which was expanded in 2017 to handle the growing demand. In 2018, a new production site with state-of-the-art equipment and technology was opened in Albaredo d’Adige.

A COMMITMENT TO ORGANIC

Rigoni di Asiago has always processed its own raw ingredients, which come from Rigoni di Asiago-owned farms as well as from trusted beekeepers who have long-term exclusive agreements with the family.

All crops and hives are organic and subject to strict controls multiple times a year. In addition, Italian farmers and beekeepers supply the company with Italian honey and Mediterranean fruit such as oranges, lemons, mandarins, peaches, apricots, figs, plums, and cherries.

Rigoni di Asiago’s organic crops are located in Bulgaria, where a favorable climate produces much of the high-quality fruit needed to make Fiordifrutta. All crops and farms in Bulgaria are supervised by Italian agronomists who specialize in organic farming.

We receive more than 5,500 tons of fruit per year, including strawberries, wild berries, blackberries, bluberries, visciole cherries, raspberries, currants, gooseberries, apples, blueberries, and sloes.
